The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Wheel Service Tool Kit

The Eastbound Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 tool kit provides all tools required to remove and reinstall both wheels in a handy compact kit. Do your repairs (or maintenance) anytime, anywhere with this compact KTM tool kit. The REH 450 has 17mm Alan front axle bolt, a 24mm nut on the rear axle and 6mm Alan type pinch bolts. 

Rear wheel removal;

Rear wheel removal for these motorcycles is straight forward with special 24mm spanner.

Front wheel removal;

To remove the front wheel you need the 17mm Alan axle tool and the 6mm alan bit to losen the pinch bolts. You don’t have to remove the single brake calliper to remove the front wheel. 

17mm Axle tool / 10mm bit adapter;  this axle tool doubles as a breaker bar to drive a range of 3/8″ sockets. The 10mm bit adapter socket doubles as adapter to drive a range of Alan, Torx and screwdriver bits.   

 The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 tool kit includes;

• one (1) 24mm Eastbound 7075 T6 lightweight axle nut wrench for rear axle nuts.
• one (1) Eastbound 7075 T6 lightweight handle set
• one (1) Eastbound 7075 T6 lightweight  17mm HEX axle tool & 3/8″ square drive; for front axle bolt and as adapter for various sockets.
• one (1) 3/8″ x 3/8″ Cr-V square drive adapter; to connect the tool bits and sockets to the 17 mm HEX adapter.
• one (1) 3/8″ x 10mm bit drive adapter for 6mm Alan bit.  
• one (1) 10mm x 6mm Alan bit for font pinch bolts. 
• one (1) Eastbound Tyre-Pro tool storage pouch

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Tool Kit features;

• lightweight breaker bar of 28cm length allowing for easy loosening and tightening of the axle nuts
• universal 3/8″ square drive and 10mm bit holder allowing use with a multitude of Torx, Alan, hex and screw driver bits.
• very compact and easy to store. The canvas pouch easily fits in the space under the seat.
• total weight of the kit is 370 grams
• torque rating axle nut wrench over 200 Nm and breaker bar adapter 200 Nm.

RE Himalayan 400; although this kit also fits the RE400, it is a bit over the top. For the REH400 you don’t need the axle tool. You only need a handle set, a 24mm spanner and a 6mm Alan key for the pinch bolts.
